Campaigning at Arthritis Care

Arthritis Care exists to support all people with arthritis. One way in which we do this is by influencing others who can make a positive difference to their lives, including government, the National Health Service and public transport providers.

By campaigning we aim to

• ensure that people with arthritis receive the best possible deal from government policies at local, regional and national levels
• ensure people with arthritis have access to good quality information to help them manage their condition
• raise the profile of arthritis amongst the general public so that its impact is better and more widely understood

The involvement of people with arthritis is central to our campaigning work. These people provide us with both the evidence of their experience of living with the condition, and the means to influence decision-makers across the UK by volunteering their time and expertise
