Although there is no cure for arthritis, there is plenty that can be done to help relieve the symptoms, change the course of the disease and reduce pain.
You will probably try a combination of different techniques to achieve this, from treatment with drugs to exercise, or complementary therapies. It is important to establish a good relationship with your healthcare team and remember that you are a key part of that team.
