Finding your way

From the homepage, to go to any of the main sections of the website, click on the buttons in the grey navigation bar at the top of the page.

You will be able to see this bar at the top of every page of the site, which will tell you which main section you are in (the section you are will be shaded in pink, or another colour if you are looking at a page in a different UK region).

The blue panel on the left hand side of the page shows the subsections of each of the main sections of the website. Click on the subsections to move around the site.

Going back to pages

On every page (except the homepage) under the top navigation bar there is text to indicate where you are on the website, which looks like this:

Home / Accessibility

You can click on this text to take you back to pages you have visited before. The back button on your browser tool bar also allows you to move back to pages.

The blue panel on the right hand side of the page shows related links or pages that might also be of interest to you. The symbol by the link changes to show whether the link is to another webpage, a PDF document, a Word document or a Power Point presentation.

Links

Text that is underlined in blue is a link. If you click on this text you will be taken to another page with more information about the text that is underlined.

This could be another page on our website (which will open in the same window) or a page on an external website (which will open in another window).

Searching for information

If you are having difficulty finding something on the website, click on Site map This will show you how the pages on the website are organised.

You could also try to use the Search box just under the top navigation bar of every page. Click into this box, type what you are searching for, and press Go.
