Arthritis Care has a payroll giving scheme for employees. We have been awarded a quality mark certificate by the Charities Aid Foundation for this.
The scheme allows employees to make donations to charities directly from their gross salary, before tax is decucted. This gives instant tax relief to these donations.
This means that £10 donated each month will cost only £7.80 for employees paying the standard tax rate and £6 for those paying higher tax rate.
Payroll giving generates a vital income stream for charities and can make a real difference to local communities.
