The Arthritis Care forum is one of our busiest service delivery points with about 12,000 posts a month from supporters.

In 2009 it was only 5,500 per month. Each post is moderated by a team of volunteer moderators. There are currently seven active moderators, just enough for one per day but we need to increase the numbers to about 16 to allow for two each evening and some holiday cover.

We are looking for people with arthritis who would be willing to give up an evening a week for this. We will train you. There is also an optional get-together once a year at our UK Office.

The Arthritis Care discussion forum

The forum started when the new Arthritis Care website was launched in April 2006. It has since become one of the most popular sections of the website attracting thousands of visitors every month.

The purpose of the forum is to provide a space where anyone affected by arthritis can support each other through free and friendly communication. It is part of Arthritis Care’s wider commitment to involve people with arthritis and to promote the benefits of mutual support.
