Arthritis Care has a large network of local campaigners spread across the UK – the Campaigns Network.
They are ordinary people, most of them with arthritis, who have expressed a desire to help make the world a better place for all people with arthritis. Action can include writing to your MP, organising petitions and raising awareness about arthritis and Arthritis Care.
‘Being able to do something for everyone with arthritis is wonderful,’ says Campaigns Network member Leah. As someone who has had arthritis for over 20 years, Leah knows how expensive it can be to get the drugs you need to manage your condition.
Leah wrote to members of the Welsh Assembly to raise the issue. As a result of her letters, and those of many more people, the Welsh Assembly passed a motion on the issue.
We want to improve the lives of the 9 million people with arthritis in the UK, and we need as many people as possible to play a part in helping us do that.
The bigger our Campaigns Network, the stronger our voice will become, and the more successful our campaigning.
All you need is enthusiasm and a desire to change things for the better. By signing up to the Campaigns Network, you will receive free, regular communications about our ongoing campaigns and policy work, and regular actions which you can take to support our current campaigns.
