Many of you have experienced problems as a result of your arthritis – such as access to treatment or using public transport. Many people with arthritis don’t know what their rights are concerning public services or treatment under the NHS.
Thanks to Arthritis Care campaigns, more people with arthritis are taking control of their condition and tackling matters that affect them.
Arthritis Care aims to empower people with arthritis so that they can take control of the issues surrounding their condition.
Campaigning can be a hugely rewarding experience. Bringing about change, however small it may seem, shows how much can be achieved by individuals.
Even if you don’t immediately achieve the results you hoped for, your cause has been highlighted and this in itself is hugely significant.
