Congratulations to Fiona on completing the half marathon
How did it go? “The half marathon went really well (apart from the weather - heavy rain and icy north winds, I think Edinburgh was the only place in the country that weekend where it wasn’t sunny!). I have a wet and windy photo of me crossing the finish line!”
Fiona and Sian have so far raised around £200 for Arthritis Care.
Why I am running
'I'm running because one of my best friends, Sian Islip, has rheumatoid arthritis.
Sian suffered quite badly from it a few years ago and could hardly walk, but is getting better now because she is on different drugs.
I want to raise money for arthritis care because I know how debilitating arthritis can be, and it means the world to people suffering from it that there's support and information out there for them.'
