If you are interested in running next year for Arthritis Care contact events@arthritiscare.org.uk or click here to go to 2009 Flora London Marathon Golden Bond Application Pack page.
We look after our runners from start to finish supporting them with both training and fundraising. Every step they take will help support the nine million people living with arthritis in the UK.
Each year Arthritis Care has a number of Golden Bond places in the Flora London Marathon; you will need to apply early.
If you would like the opportunity to support Arthritis Care, but do not want to run the marathon you can volunteer to help with supporting the runners on the day.
The 2009 Flora London Marathon is taking place on Sunday 26th April and we need people to cheer our runners on along the way. If you would like to be involved with this then please contact the events team. We will arrange for you to have an Arthritis Care T-Shirt and give you more information about the day.
For more information, please contact our events co-ordinator on 020 7380 6500 or email events@arthritiscare.org.uk
If you would like to run on behalf of Arthritis Care in a different marathon or half-marathon event, please contact us for more information on how we can support you on 020 7380 6500 or email events@arthritiscare.org.uk
Heartfelt congratulations to our amazing 2008 team of marathon runners who ran through rain and shine to raise money and awareness for Arthritis Care.
With fantastic support from friends and family our fab 42 runners clocked up a total of 1,092 hard won miles on the day and have raised over £35,000 to date. After witnessing such a colossal physical effort - it hardly seems enough just to say thanks.
We applaud the dedication and commitment of each and every runner and their loyal supporters. Your individual and collective achievement will help so many people with arthritis in so many ways. I hope you all enjoyed the day as much as we did!
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!
