March 22-23

Residential Body Image Event for 10 young people with arthritis over the age of 18 covering topics such as self-esteem and relationships.

April

Parents Seminar Event for approx 20 families who have a child with arthritis.

There will be a programme of medical speakers for the parents including Dr Madeleine Rooney, Paediatric Rheumatologist, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and a Clinical Psychologist.

There will also be a fun programme for the young people including art workshops, magicians and focused discussion.

June

JOINTZ Summer Event – FUN Day out for all the family at Carnfunnock Park in Larne.

August

Residential Siblings Event for young people with arthritis and their siblings.  This will be a fun activity based weekend.

September

Residential Body Image Event for 10 young people with arthritis covering topics such as self-esteem, decision making and confidence building.

October

JOINTZ Halloween Event aimed at approx 20 families who have a child with arthritis.

November

Residential Positive Future Workshop for 14 young people with arthritis covering topics such as what your arthritis means to you, difficulties you face and patterns of behaviour.
