Access to good information is the first stage in learning to live with arthritis. In any area of life you have to understand the problem before you can devise the solution.
As people live with their condition and face the challenges it brings, they want ongoing and up-to-date information about how best to manage it. Time and again people with arthritis have told us that what they want most is access to relevant, accurate and useful information about their condition.
Arthritis Care in Northern Ireland has an extensive information provision service, ensuring that the full range of publications are easily accessible to people with arthritis and their families either through information points in their local hospitals and health centres, at information events, or alternatively directly from our regional office based in Antrim.
A dedicated team of volunteers makes it possible for us to sustain the level of local coverage that we presently have. Volunteering opportunities presently exist in this area, contact us to find out more.
In addition to our standard publications, Arthritis Care Northern Ireland also produces a bi-annual magazine called Arthritis Action. This gives information about what is going on at a local level in Northern Ireland along with details of upcoming events and training courses. This can again be accessed through our regional office
