Fashion gurus in Banchory took notice when Banchory & district branch of Arthritis Care held a very successful fashion show.
10 committee members and friends, aged from 3 up, strutted their stuff in front of 100 people in the Burnett Arms hotel in Banchory. The Banchory and Inverurie branches of the Edinburgh Woollen Mill provided outfits; Heather Findlater, branch secretary, provided commentary, and great fun was had by all.
David Findlater commented 'It took about a year to plan, and we had a few ups and downs before the actual show but we overcame them on the night. It was a great success and we cleared £500 towards our funds. We had a lot of laughs and fun behind the scenes and it was well worth it. I would recommend any branch who would like a challenge to try it.'
