5 May 2011 – make your voice heard

With the election to the Scottish Parliament due on 5 May, Arthritis Care is urging people with arthritis to contact candidates to make them aware of the issues they face.

Arthritis Care in Scotland has produced a postcard which people can give or sent to candidates, asking for them to pledge their support on key issues – (link to pdf).

Copies of the card can be obtained from the Arthritis Care Scotland office (link to contact details). Please let us know if you are in contact with any candidates.

Arthritis Care in Scotland has also produced ‘The Manifesto for People with Arthritis in Scotland’, which argues that helping people with arthritis to stay independent makes economic sense – for them, for the health service, and for society.
