Information and support in Scotland

Arthritis Care volunteers from across Scotland gathered in Glasgow to find out more about Arthritis Care’s website and to put the finishing touches to Arthritis Care in Scotland’s presentation “Arthritis and Pain”.

Bob Chase, website manager, gave a fascinating insight into the full range of information and support available through Arthritis Care’s website. There was also a lively discussion about what information should be available on the Scotland pages of the website. The top priority was more local information – so if you have any local news about issues in your area, please get in touch with the Scotland office. Your views on what you want to see in the pages would also be welcome.

The afternoon saw the premiere of the presentation on pain, with volunteers making suggestions for improvements. The presentation discusses the many ways people with arthritis can take control of their pain, rather than it controlling them. More details of the project are available on our website.
