Tell us what you need from your employer

The theme of World Arthritis Day 2009 is ‘Let’s Work Together’.  The campaign considers the challenges of work, be it paid employment, voluntary work or work at home supporting a family, and embraces people with rheumatic diseases, healthcare professionals and employers.

In preparation for World Arthritis Day, Arthritis Care wants to hear what people with arthritis need from their employer so that they are able to work well without this having a negative effect on their health.

We would be very grateful if you could take a few minutes to fill in our work survey. (If you have already completed the survey, you will be re-directed to information about World Arthritis Day).

Whether you're currently working or have left work, tell us how an employer is supporting you now or has supported you in the past. We'd also like to hear if they didn't provide you with the support you needed and what impact this had on your condition.

Why not visit the World Arthritis Day 2009 website, where you can enter a photograph of yourself showing an aspect of your work that is important to you, along with a short sentence on what work means to you. You can also complete the Let's Work Together survey.
