How can Joint Potential help?

Arthritis Care's Joint Potential programme helps you take a fresh approach to living with arthritis, finding solutions to problems and setting goals. It's open to anyone living in Scotland, aged 16-25, with any form of arthritis. There are 3 free events led by our contact volunteers who are also young adults with arthritis, so they’ll know just where you’re coming from. Events are relaxed and informal, giving you the chance to talk through your experiences, gain confidence and find a way forward.

Joint Potential Events in 2010:

Read about volunteer Jennifer Dobson's experiences with Joint Potential, as featured in the Herald, July 2009.

Why are we doing this?

Arthritis Care has been told how much this programme benefits people; we already run it in Northern Ireland and Southern England. Many of those involved have gone on to do more with their lives than they thought possible.

How much will it cost?

The events are all free; they have been funded by two of our Scottish branches who want young adults with arthritis to have access to these courses, because they know how good they are. So it won't cost you anything except your time.

How does Joint Potential help health professionals?

Find out how Joint Potential complements the care given by Rheumatology teams, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.
