Branches in the south

Arthritis Care has a UK-wide network of branches and groups – many are based in our area.

People with arthritis can meet up and support others locally through this network.

The branches are run by volunteers. They provide a number of beneficial services, including:

  • a social network
  • support through sharing experiences
  • providing information – through Arthritis Care publications and guest speakers
  • ways of managing arthritis, including exercise classes and hydrotherapy
  • generating awareness locally about arthritis and Arthritis Care
  • becoming active in campaigning activities

There are approximately 250 branches across the UK. Anyone can join

Branch members are of all ages and backgrounds, and enjoy great support through the network.

Most branches meet monthly, although many have a range of activities throughout the year, including days out, Christmas lunches and social events.
