Pippa Nelson the regional operations manager for the South of England presided over both award lunches and expressed thanks to all those who helped deliver the services across the south of England for the benefit of all people with arthritis.
The Diamond Jubilee lunch was was well attended and Dr Karen Walker Bone Senior lecturer in rheumatology and sub-dean at Brighton Medical School was in attendance to hand out the certificates and awards in each category these were:
The award winner was Jette Hanson appointed volunteer for information and training and member of Watford Branch
The award winner in this category was Ann Foster, Redhill and Reigate Branch
The award winner was Rosie Buttery volunteer youth worker with the young person’s project
The award winner in this category was Ruth Davison from Eastbourne Branch
The award went to Julie Witz, Rheumatology Nurse
The Diamond Jubilee lunch was was well attended in Exeter the awards were presented by Chris Knight the regional trustee for South West England and over forty guests attended.
The award winner was Greg Whale appointed volunteer for training and information a volunteer for the young person’s project taking the lead for the accreditation awards for the young people and treasurer for the regional committee South West England
The winner was John Knight Amesbury Branch
The winner was Hannah King who works with the team in the young person’s project and also represents the project on the regional committee for the south west
The award winner was Nancy Dodd with a huge point count of 137 which was the highest across all categories in the south of England Nancy represents Wells Branch
The winner was Chris Knight
The winner was Dr Sarah Andreae-Jones
