Arthritis Care England is hoping to follow in Scotland’s successful footsteps.

Scotland was successful in getting their Investors in Volunteers status in October 2006 and were presented with their award in the Scottish parliament by Andy Kerr, the Minister of Health.

Arthritis Care England is hoping to follow suit in gaining Investors in Volunteers status. A working party has been formed and they are busy, working with the assessor to gather together the information necessary for this award.

In the South of England we already have many voluteers but we are always looking for more. For more information go to our volunteering page.

Investing in Volunteers is the UK quality standard for all organisations which involve volunteers in their work. The Standard enables organisations to comprehensively review their volunteer management, and also publicly demonstrates their commitment to volunteering.
