Is a one hour pain management programme written by Arthritis Care for 12-18 year olds with arthritis.
It is delivered by Arthritis Care staff and Youth Volunteers all of whom have arthritis and a knowledge and experience of young people with arthritis.
The workshop looks at the pain cycle and then at techniques that can be used to help us break this cycle and manage pain more effectively.
Techniques are fun and include breathing exercises, relaxation and exercise.
This workshop will be part of the activity weekends. Dates for 2008
