Arthritis Care is developing a Campaigners Network to build on its important campaigning work to improve rights and services for people with arthritis across Wales. Despite welcome improvements in some areas, arthritis related healthcare is patchy across Wales – many parts of Wales still have a second rate service for people with arthritis with very little local provision of key services such as rheumatology.
The Network has been set up to support people wishing to add their voice to the call for high quality services and rights for people with arthritis.
The Network is free to join, is open to Arthritis Care members and non-members and the amount of time Network supporters put into their campaigning is entirely up to the individual.
Network supporters receive:
There will be opportunities to get involved with our media activities, opportunities to link up with other people in the same area with the same campaigning interests.
As the Network grows in Wales, we hope to be able to offer supporters the opportunity to take part in campaigns workshops and training.
For more information about the Network, please contact us on 0845 2419675 or email WalesCampaigns@Arthritiscare.org.uk
If you would like to find out more about the Campaigners Network and sign up as a supporter, please download the Campaigners Pack Wales, complete the form at the end and return it to Arthritis Care in Wales, Electric House, Castle Street, Newcastle Emlyn SA38 9AF.
