This handbook has been developed by Dr Carrie Britton, drawing on her own experiences as the mother of a child with juvenile idiopathic arthritis.

It brings together information about all sorts of organisations and sources of help for families of children with arthritis. Topics covered include money matters, getting help at school, coping with daily exercises and home therapies and other family issues.

The bi-lingual version (English/Welsh) is available by contacting us at the Arthritis Care in Wales office. If you’d like a copy please get in touch.

Copies of the handbook are also available for health professionals working with children with arthritis.
