Having to take sack loads of medications for your arthritis might seem like a right pain. But remember your doctor will have prescribed them with good reason – they should make you feel better in the long run.
Cannabis is thought to have pain-reducing properties, so you might be tempted to give it a try, but remember that, although the government has downgraded the classification of cannabis, it is still an illegal drug.
Much more research needs to be done on the effects of cannabis on the body, some of which may be harmful. As well as being illegal, taking drugs is risky, can have nasty side effects and could impact on your arthritis medication. If you have any concerns about drugs, Talk to Frank provides useful information. You can email them or call any time day or night on 0800 77 66 00. You can also talk to your GP.
