Surgery or heat packs? Would you like to have a say, as a person with osteoarthritis (OA) or gout, on which issues researchers should look at?

Researchers at University of Leeds would like to know which issues are important to people with OA and/or gout. They will use this information to influence their research priorities.

So, for example, you may be interested in experts looking at the impact of a particular type of medication or the best exercises for people with hip OA. Or you might want researchers to study how aids could be developed to improve the lives of people with arthritis.

What’s involved?

Taking part is easy – it just involves rating a list of research topics in terms of importance or relevance to you. Simply email Arthritis Care’s publishing department to say you are interested.

HelenN@arthritiscare.org.uk

You will then receive an email with the list of research topics. Please contact Arthritis Care by midday Monday 13 October.

Please note that your email address will be sent to the researcher at the University of Leeds and will only be used for this purpose. You will not receive any further communication from the University of Leeds.
