Ron talking about osteoarthritis

Ron talking about osteoarthritis

Arthritis Care is working with NHS Direct in England to develop a tool to help people make informed decisions about treatment options.

We want to create some short films of people with osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee, sharing their experiences.

If you are interested and meet the following criteria, then get in touch.

Do you:

  • have osteoarthritis of the KNEE
  • speak fluent English
  • live in England
  • have a range of lifestyle issues to talk about – home, work, family, friends, hobbies, social life, etc
  • have decided to take the ‘surgical’ route – all types of surgery (total replacement, partial replacement, arthroscopy) OR have decided to take the ‘non surgical’ route – injections, physiotherapy, exercise, diet, drugs, massage, etc
  • maybe you have a partner who is prepared to talk about the impact on them alongside you

You could help thousands of others living with OA make informed decisions about how they manage their arthritis.

If you are happy to talk on camera and meet the criteria, please get in touch with Helen Nickols at Arthritis Care who can tell you a bit more about the project. Contact Helen at HelenN@arthritiscare.org.uk or phone her on
020 7380 6521.
