Arthritis Care aims to ensure that its courses and workshops are accessible to everyone and anyone. We know that living with a long-term condition can mean encountering barriers in everyday life and we make every effort to remove those which might prevent you from benefiting from our work.

If you are considering attending one of our courses or workshops, rest assured, we make everything as easy as possible.

  • We only use venues that are fully accessible with appropriate facilities, including accessible toilets.
  • We provide user-friendly handouts and booklets so you have a chance to absorb information at your own pace.
  • You are free to move about at any point in the session if you need to.
  • There is very little writing involved during our courses and workshops (there are no tests), but if you do need help, please let us know.
  • Our experienced trainers ensure there is a calm, friendly atmosphere in which everyone is respected.

If you require any particular adjustments to enable you to attend a course, we will do our very best to help. For example, we may be able to arrange sign language interpretation or to provide information in Braille or on audio, if necessary.

To tell us what your requirements are, please contact your nearest office.
