This is a prestigious one-off event for healthcare professionals in the West Midlands.

It is intended to offer delegates the opportunity of hearing high-level speakers and gain a better understanding of what Arthritis Care has to offer them and their patients.

The event will enable you to meet colleagues, stimulate debate and celebrate World Arthritis Day.

Limited to 80 places by invitation only.

  • Dr Roger Newport, associate professor – Faculty of Science, Nottingham University
  • Dr Chris Deighton MB BS (Hons) BMedSci (Hons) MD FRCP, consultant rheumatologist at Royal Derby Hospital, special lecturer at the School of Medical & Surgical Sciences at Nottingham University
  • Emeritus Professor Paul A Bacon, Division of Immunity and Infection University of Birmingham (previously founding holder of Arthritis Research UK's Chair of Rheumatology), chairman of the Birmingham Arthritis Resource Centre
  • Issan Ghazni, regional director of operations, Arthritis Care Central England 
  • Neil Betteridge, Arthritis Care chief executive
