Assisting people with chronic pain regain control of their life. Challenging Pain is a short course aimed to provide people with easy skills and techniques to manage their chronic pain.
The courses are small and friendly and offer you the opportunity to meet and share with others who are going through similar day to day experiences coping with long term pain.
Challenging Pain has been proven to reduce the fear, anger and frustration that pain can cause you to feel, it helps you to think about your pain differently and be more confident in your ability to carry out daily activities.
You will learn new techniques to cope with your pain and you will discover better ways of communicating your needs to your family, friends and your doctor. Many people have said they are now able to think more positively for the future and plan ahead.
